Fee Management

This page explains how eligible fee rewards can be managed on Trends.

Quick overview

  • If you have eligible fee rewards on Trends, you can manage them from your profile.
  • Fee Earners can choose whether to claim rewards, use rewards for buyback, or redirect rewards elsewhere.
  • Community or gift recipients can claim rewards that have already been allocated to them.
  • Some actions are irreversible, so review the action carefully before confirming.

Who can use Fee Management

  • Fee Earners for eligible coins on the new curve
  • Community recipients who were assigned a reward through Community Vault distribution
  • Gift recipients who were assigned a reward through a fee redirect action

Where to manage rewards

  • Eligible rewards appear in your Profile on Trends.
  • If you have a claimable amount greater than 0, the relevant action buttons are available.
  • If your claimable amount is 0, the action buttons may appear disabled.

Fee Earner actions

Claim

  • Use Claim to claim your available fee rewards on Trends.
  • After claiming, the claimed amount is no longer available as unclaimed rewards.

Claim & Buyback

  • Use Claim & Buyback to use your available rewards for buyback instead of taking the full reward as a normal claim.
  • After confirmation, the action is recorded in your reward history.

Redirect Fees

  • Use Redirect Fees if you do not want to keep the reward for yourself.
  • Once you confirm a redirect action, it is irreversible.

Available redirect destinations for Fee Earners:

  • Gift to someone — send the reward to another supported recipient
  • Donate to charity — send the reward to a supported charity shown in the product
  • Return to the community — return the reward to the community side
  • Buyback & Burn — use the reward for buyback and burn

Gifting rewards

  • When gifting a reward, you will need to enter the recipient details supported by the product.
  • Trends may ask you to paste a supported social profile link or username and confirm the matched recipient before you continue.
  • After the gift is confirmed, the reward is no longer claimable by you.

Community and gifted rewards

  • If you receive a reward through Community Vault or as a gift, the reward can appear in your profile as claimable rewards.
  • Once available, you can claim that reward on Trends.
  • Community and gifted rewards do not use the same full redirect flow as Fee Earner rewards.

Reward status history

  • After an action is completed, Trends may show a status on the coin row, profile entry, or related activity feed.
  • Common statuses include:
    • Claimed
    • Bought
    • Gifted
    • Donated
    • Returned to the community
    • Burned

Important notes

  • Fee Management applies only to eligible rewards supported by the current Trends product flow.
  • Wallet, network, and other third-party fees are separate from Trends reward actions.
  • The final result of any fee action is determined by the on-chain transaction.
  • Trends may update supported actions, destinations, or reward rules over time.
